What does a typical clinic look like?

45–60 minutes, depending on her program, built around fundamentals, preparation, and fun. Players work on passing, catching, ground balls, shooting, stick skills, athletic movement, and field awareness, while learning the skills and concepts they’ll see at town practices and games.

Expect lots of touches, music, creative games, and high player engagement—all designed to keep players moving, learning, and having fun.

What if there is inclement weather?

At GLOW, we make every effort to hold clinics as scheduled, but player safety always comes first.

If field or road conditions are unsafe, sessions will be canceled at least two hours before the scheduled start time, and an email update will be sent. Clinics will continue as planned in drizzle or light rain.

If a clinic is canceled, we’ll provide details about a make-up date. Alternatively, players are welcome to join another available class that works with their schedule.

What stick should my daughter use?

Not sure which stick to buy? Ask us. We’re happy to recommend the right stick based on your daughter’s age, size and experience—without overspending.

If your daughter is just starting, choose a girls’ stick that is forgiving and easy to handle so she can learn confidently and enjoy the game.

Why don’t I see any clinics in the spring?

GLOW offers 5-week clinics in the off-season to help players build skills and maintain interest and consistency. During the spring season, we step back so players can fully focus on their town or club teams without added conflict. In the spring, we do offer Shooting Stars (PreK-K) classes, in addition to small group and Private Lessons.
