GLOW LAX Policies & expectations
At GLOW, our goal is to provide a safe, positive, and inclusive environment where every girl can grow in confidence, character, and skill. We ask all families to review the following guidelines to ensure the best possible experience for everyone involved.
ATTENDANCE/SAFETY
All coaches are CORI-certified and trained in first aid and concussion awareness.
Players must wear proper equipment at every session: goggles, mouthguard, stick, and cleats/sneakers. (See our FAQ section for more information)
Parents will be notified immediately of any injury or concern.
If your daughter isn’t feeling well or has a minor injury, please let us know before the session so we can adjust accordingly.
Hydration and rest are encouraged — water breaks happen often! Girls should bring water bottles with them to each session, and plan to bring them onto the field to avoid longer sideline breaks.
Attendance & Punctuality
Consistent attendance helps GLOW coaches prepare for each session accordingly with the appropriate coaching staff, and curriculum for each age group.
If you’re running late or need to miss a session, PLEASE let us know ahead of time and/or send a quick message to Coach Caroline: caroline@glow-lacrosse.com
CANCELLATION/Refunds/MAKE-UP Policies
We do not accept refunds - this includes illness, injury, scheduling conflicts, or last-minute changes. However, if GLOW needs to cancel, depending on the situation, a refund may be applicable.
If you need to miss a class due to sickness or injury— you can keep that class as credit or a “GLOW Make Up Coupon”— to jump into another class at any date or time. If you decide to make up the class, please contact us and let us know which clinic you will be attending.
Weather & Field Conditions
GLOW clinics will run rain or shine. If the clinic is cancelled due to the weather, we will make an announcement on Instagram and send you an email to let you know, 2 hours prior to the event!
Clinics continue in light rain. Make-up coupon can be used if GLOW cancels.
Behavior & Sportsmanship
GLOW is a no-judgment zone — but all players are expected to show respect, kindness, and good sportsmanship toward teammates, coaches, and themselves.
Bullying, negative talk, or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated. We may notify the player or parents if we see inappropriate behavior. Please feel free to make the coaches aware of anything you observe or experience, and we will address the issue together. And please reach out to Coach Caroline: caroline@glow-lacrosse.com if you need anything
If you need to borrow a stick, please let us know ahead of time. We have only a few on loan.
Drop-Off & Pick-Up Reminders:
Please be on time for both drop-off and pick-up. Participants should bring their stick, water bottle and weather-appropriate clothing. Both goggles and mouthguards are required (except for Shooting Stars). If you do not have your goggles or mouthguard, we may have an extra pair, but we cannot allow your daughter to play when we are actively moving the ball around if she does not wear her goggles or moughtguard. Stick and goggle recommendations are listed in our FAQ page).
As a parent/guardian, you are not obligated to stay at the clinic. You are welcome to stay and watch, of course. For the little ones, our #1 priority is engagement and focus for a fantastic player experience. Whatever works best for your family.
Please inform us at least 12 hours ahead of time if you can, that your daughter will not be attending the clinic. caroline@glow-lacrosse.com
