The perfect introduction to girls’ lacrosse!

At Shooting Stars, a safe and playful environment and compassionate coaching are at the heart of every session. We combine music and movement to introduce and teach the basic fundamentals. (Proper stick grip body positioning, hand-eye coordination) GLOW coaches go above and beyond to build a connection with your daughters so they get excited to play every week. This is a drop-off option, nor are parents required to be on the field. We want you to relax and enjoy watching your daughters develop into these independent and enthusiastic little women!

Consider these classes a preparation for their grand entrance into the world of team sports! At this age of development, your daughters are often overly energetic, eager to compete, and hungry to learn. GLOW GIRL is a perfect mix of hands-on instruction and fast-paced drills to keep them motivated, moving, and engaged.

We focus on our listening skills, respecting our coaches and teammates, and moving the girls swiftly from drill to drill to keep the pace of play going. We teach the importance of unselfish play and positive communication. We work on the basics, particularly hand placement, passing, catching and ground balls.

Our GLOW Up program is designed for girls who are enthusiastic about the sport and have significant progress in their consistency across all the fundamentals. Stick work is where we spend most of our time. We work on using our non-dominant hand, shooting with purpose, strong defensive positioning, and accurate passing. This is when the girls begin to see the game strategically—not just reactively.

As such, we weave in high-level concepts such spacing, off-ball movement, learning how to get open, and making smart choices handling the ball. And we have a blast!

Our newest 5th–6th grade program! R.I.S.E is designed for players who currently play at an elite level but want to take their game to an even higher level- R.I.S.E is a great opportunity to help your daughters with that big transition- they are looking to make a club team, prepare for a tournament, improve on draw controls, goalie clears!
