Yes-ish.
At our core (our sweet spot)! GLOW provides basic instruction for beginners who want to learn the game and intend to continue playing in town or recreational lacrosse. (Grades 1-2nd).
We also work with players who may have 1-2 years of experience under their belt but need more time building a stronger foundation and enhancing their existing skill set. (Grades 3-4th)
We have our Shooting Stars program which a playful introduction to the game for PreK-Kindergarten.

GLOW is a clinic-based model, which means we provide a flexible training format (seasonally), where players select class packages or individual sessions—without committing to a full team season.
GLOW is also a great place to try the game, see if you love it, and figure out how competitive you want to be. We guide families who are new to lacrosse and provide a clear roadmap to help players succeed. It’s especially valuable for girls starting later who may not know where to begin.
GLOW is not a club — it’s where players prepare for one.
A club model is team-based, requires tryouts and a full-season commitment, and focuses on competition and tournaments.

The answer, is NO!
We are town agnostic. You do not need to be a resident of the town where the clinic is located. (We structured GLOW this way for more optionality for busy families, while also promoting inclusion, adaptability, and making new friends)!
There are no upfront fees
Pay-per-clinic.
Flexible Scheduling (we understand busy schedules and multi-sport athlete calendars. You can register for a clinic package but attend a clinic in another location/time. Just let us know)!
All Levels are welcome.
Small-group, high-repetition instruction

You can find a great stick for this age at less than $40.00.
(Feel free to read if you are curious, otherwise I have direct links to recommended sticks below)
If your daughter is just starting, you want her using a stick that’s forgiving and easy to handle so she can learn confidently and enjoy the game right away.
The right stick supports proper mechanics and makes lacrosse feel simpler — which leads to faster progress and more fun.
You can purchase a great stick for your daughter at $50 bucks. No problem.
Knowing that, when you purchase a stick, you need to tell the salesperson 3 things about your daughter: age, height, and level of experience. (aka, don’t let them lead you to sticks that are $300. Those sticks are for advanced players, so don’t be fooled).
Please make sure the stick has a women’s pocket, or a modified pocket. The sticks with deeper pockets are strictly for the boy’s game, and, unfortunately, the deeper pocket is illegal in town lacrosse.
The length of the shaft? If you in the 1st and 2nd grade, the below recommendations are perfect for you. It should be about 28”.
If you are exceptionally taller, I am happy to answer questions before purchasing a stick.

A clinic is 1 hour. There are about 20 players per clinic with 2-3 coaches at least on the field. The age range is 1-4th grade, and we almost always have the groups divided by grade and then skillset.
We build on basic fundamentals: catching, passing, cradling, ground balls, footwork, dodging, and shooting.
For many girls, this is their first entry into organized youth sports, or they’re easing into it — so we also teach them good habits that make great teammates: listening to coaches, keeping pace, showing gratitude, and cleaning up when we’re done.
We finish with fun, game-like scenarios and small-sided scrimmages so players can apply what they learned in motion and build confidence fast!

At GLOW, we make every effort to hold clinics as scheduled, but player safety always comes first.
Sessions will be canceled at least two hours prior if conditions are unsafe, either on the fields or on the roads.
An email update will be sent if it is clear the conditions are too dangerous.
Clinics will continue as planned in drizzle or light rain!
If a clinic is canceled, we’ll provide details on a make-up class date.
Alternatively, you are welcome to jump into another class that is offered that might work for your schedule. Please contact Caroline with questions: caroline@glow-lacrosse.com

GLOW offers 5-week clinics in the off-season to help players build skills and maintain interest and consistency. During the spring season, we step back (except for Shooting Stars) so players can fully focus on their town or club teams without added conflict

Yes! Caroline is the secret sauce behind many players’ success :)
Caroline has worked with countless players and families from 5th grade to the high school level wo are looking for private instruction or small group training.
Her clients are typically competitive players looking to
make a marquee club team or their Varsity team
coming back from an injury and need to train carefully to be ready to transition smoothly back into their spring season.
position-focused: players looking to improve on a particular skill set (draw controls, footwork, stick IQ, defense, non-dominant work)
Caroline works 1 on 1 or she will run small group training sessions with 3-4 players.
